GARDENERS looking for a bargain with a Royal connection will be heading to Brecon next weekend.
As its patron, the Prince of Wales has again promised plants from Highgrove Gardens for the sale in aid of Brecon Cathedral Choir Appeal.
The plant fair is on Saturday, May 9, in the grounds of Abercamlais House, near Brecon, by kind permission of Susan Ballance. The trust raises money for choristers to receive a full choral musical education, with instruction in up to two musical instruments as well as choral tuition.
Visitors can buy home-grown plants from the keenest gardeners in the Brecon area, and at a fraction of the cost of garden centres and nurseries.
