TWO county jewellers are poised to make their first ever showcase since each winning a place on a special graduate scheme six months ago.
Leoma Drew, originally from Tenbury Wells, and 23-year-old Hereford resident Annie Cracknell will see their silver work displayed in the foyer of The Courtyard.
They each won one of just two free membership schemes offered annually by Herefordshire-based professional association Alloy Jewellery.
Leoma, 25, said: “I was so relieved to find I had been selected as a graduate as my work requires hi-tech equipment which I would not have been able to afford.”
The women, who studied together at Hereford College of Art before completing degrees, have been given a special metal bursary and free time in the association workshop.
As a result, they can create their first commercial collections with minimal financial strain and help from other, more established Alloy members.
Their work will be on show between Monday, May 6, and June 1, with a private viewing on the opening night.
