HAY-ON-WYE has been raising a mug or two to the great British brew during Communi-tea week.
Residents at Carfref residential home in the town enjoyed a variety of quizzes, games and tea-tasting in support of a nationwide initiative to tackle isolation and loneliness in older people.
The centre was one of 300 who invited older people to get together over a cuppa.
Manager Sylvia Illingsworth said: "The residents really enjoyed this event, it was a learning experience as all the quizzes and activities were based on the history of tea."
