PARISHIONERS in Hay-on-Wye are awaiting the arrival of a very special guest as the Archbishop of Canterbury prepares for a service at St Mary’s Church later this month.
Dr Rowan Williams will take tea at 4.30pm and evensong at 6pm at the Gipsy Castle Lane church during the town’s literary festival on May 28.
The event follows on from morning mass at St John’s Chapel in the town, which takes place at 10am.
