HEREFORDSHIRE bikers are invited to attend a skills day on Sunday (May 10).
The free event at the County Hall in Worcester is being held for bikers to improve their skills and reduce the chance of serious injury.
There will be the opportunity to have a free assessed ride with a qualified Institute of Advanced Motorcyclist instructor who will give advice and feedback on the rider’s performance.
The assessed ride will last up to one hour and cover a range of road conditions with feedback provided.
The event is being organised by the Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, the Herefordshire branch of the Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists and The Safer Roads Partnership.
Assistant Chief Fire Officer, Jon Hall, said: “We want to encourage motorcyclists of all ages and abilities to attend this free event where experts will demonstrate how they can improve their skills and thus save themselves and others from injury or worse.”
The event starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm. Bikers can enrol on the day for a ride out or call free 0800 032 1155 to make a reservation.
