PARISH COUNCILS – The parish councils for Ocle Pychard Group and Much Cowarne Group will both meet in Burley Gate Village Hall at the earlier time of 7pm on Tuesday, May 19. These are the meetings at which both councils appoint their chairman for the coming year. All parishioners are welcome to attend.
MORETON WOOD ACTIVITIES – A bird walk, led by Herefordshire Ornithological Club, will start from Moreton Wood, Ullingswick, at 9.30am on Sunday. Sturdy footwear, binoculars and bird books are recommended. Participants are invited to make a £2 donation to the HOC. Details from 07920 851674.
BURLEY GATE VILLAGE HALL – The hall trustees will hold their AGM in the hall at 7.30pm on May 12. Everyone is welcome to attend.
PLANT SALE – The annual plant sale in support of Much Cowarne Church will be held at the church from 6.30pm on Friday, May 15. Contributions are always welcome.
WI – Much Cowarne WI will meet at Stoke Lacy Village Hall at 7.30pm tomorrow (Friday) and will be given a demonstration of jewellery, bags and accessories. The competition will be for the prettiest bracelet.
