ANNUAL PARISH MEETING – Takes place tonight (Thursday) at 7pm in the community centre. The annual report of the parish council, including comments from Councillor Adrian Blackshaw, will be presented along with reports from the Wellington Charities and the community association. Members of the public are invited to attend and will have an opportunity to comment on each item.
Following afterwards is the annual parish council meeting, when the chairman and vice-chairman will be elected.
VILLAGE COFFEE MORNING – May’s coffee morning will take place tomorrow (Friday) in the community room, between 10.30am and noon, as usual. Entry is free and all villagers, of whatever age, are most welcome.
Meet your neighbours and catch up with the local goings-on in the village.
Come and sample the goodies available to eat. Any profits go to the community association to help it refurbish the community room.
