THE Bishop of Hereford has been discussing the relationship between religion and science with city students.
The Rt Rev Anthony Priddis spoke about the issue with students at Hereford Sixth Form College’s newly formed Christian Union.
The bishop, who has an MA in natural sciences, told students he did not believe there was a conflict between science and Christianity.
“There was a real readiness of the students to discuss and probe the issues deeper,” he said.
The bishop was invited to the college by its chaplain, Rev Mike Vockins, and more than 80 students attended.
