PEOPLE wanting to take part in one of Herefordshire’s top charity runs can enter on-line.
The Kingsland Macmillan Fun Run starts at Luctonians Sports Club on Saturday, May 16, and Macmillan Cancer Support in Hereford has opened up a website for people to register for the event.
Macmillan fund-raising manager Sarah Grout said it would be able to provide a similar online facility for any other events organised on behalf of the charity.
The Kingsland fun run/walk, which has raised many thousands of pounds for the Macmillan Renton Unit, includes two routes of 4.7 and 10.2 miles to cater for all abilities and will be started by actor John Challis – of TV’s Only Fools and Horses fame.
To enter, log onto macmillan.org.uk/walking and source the event using the key word “Kingsland”.
Registration costs £5.
