A MAN was assaulted when he was walking home in Hereford.
The 27-year-old was approached by another male, who shouted abuse, near the Hinton Community Centre, Ross Road between 1am and 1.30am on Monday May 4.
The victim crossed the road but was punched in the face by the other man, causing bruising.
It is believed that a taxi may have passed them during the assault.
