BREDWARDINE residents made sure birthday celebrations for their village hall went with a swing by dancing to the Gentlemen of Jive all night.
The 70th anniversary bash followed weeks of preparation from villagers who spruced the place up by painting and cleaning the site.
The building’s new disabled toilets were also officially opened by David Hughes during the course of the evening, before revellers partied away until 1am.
Organisers hailed it a great success and said nobody wanted the night to end.
