A HEREFORD cosmetic surgeon will once again appear in a groundbreaking TV programme tonight (Thursday) that aims to transform the body shapes of four men.
Vik Vijh, who works at the Nuffield Hospital and Hereford County Hospital, will be featured in the second instalment of the Channel 4 series Extreme Male Beauty.
The programme focuses on journalist Tim Shaw, who tries to shed the pounds in eight weeks and turn from “slovenly slob to perfect Adonis”.
Throughout the series, Mr Vijh nips and tucks beer bellies, sagging jowls, droopy eyelids and “man boobs”.
“I was delighted to take part in this educational but entertaining series, which highlights the growing male beauty industry,”
he said.
“Cosmetic surgery patients are still predominately female, but interest in male procedures is rising fast, as men start to embrace targeted grooming treatments.”
The programme is on Channel 4 tonight (Thursday) at 10pm.
