CONSULTATION – On Wednesday, May 20, Herefordshire Council, in partnership with the Marches Housing Association, is holding a meeting in the village hall to which people are invited.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss land opportunities for affordable housing in the village and to hear residents’ views. The meeting is from 2.30pm to 6.30pm, thus giving the opportunity for everyone to attend.
COFFEE MORNING – Councillor and Mrs Hope are hosting a coffee morning at their home, Sunny Bank Farm, Woonton, on Saturday, May 23, from10.30am until noon. Admission is £1.50. There will be a variety of stalls, including cakes, plants and bring-andbuy, as well as a raffle. Proceeds are for the Castle Ward.
CHURCH – The next family service is at 11am on Sunday.
LUNCH – There will be Sunday lunch in the village hall on Sunday, 12.30pm for 1pm.
FILM – There will be an extra flicks in the sticks in May when Slumdog Millionaire will be shown in the village hall at 7.30pm today (Thursday).
Admission is £3.50 and £2.50 for children.
