THANK YOU – Heather Love, of Camilla Cottage, would like to thank everyone who supported her Go Tea Potty Party, which raised £304 for the Save the Children Fund.
COFFEE MORNINGS – Tomorrow (Friday) at 10am, a coffee morning in aid of the Meningitis Trust will be held at Ridgeway, Great Oak. On Saturday, the annual sale/coffee morning organised by the Eardisley branch of the Royal British Legion will take place in the village hall starting at 10.30am.
FILMS – The Tuesday afternoon films have finished for the summer season but will resume in October. The evening cinema continues tomorrow (Friday) with Burn After Reading. This is the award-winning film directed by Joel and Ethel Coen and stars George Clooney. Doors open at 7pm, with the show starting at 7.30pm. At half term, Saturday, May 30, the film Madagascar - Escape 2 Africa will be shown.
