CIDER – The Little Cider Press Company, situated in the heart of Herefordshire’s cider country, offers a small volume pressing service to encourage owners of apple trees to make their own cider. If you enjoy cider and want to learn more about the craft, or are interested in making cider but don’t know where to start, then we invite you to join our cider tutorial on Saturday, May 23, and Saturday, July 11, from 10.30am to 4pm, £30, to include a local produce lunch at Putley, near Ledbury, Herefordshire.
Sharing his experience, our guest tutor Andrew Lea will take us on a journey to taste and compare a range of craft ciders to show how apple varieties and cider-making techniques give rise to such a diversity of flavours. Andrew has a great cider pedigree, having conducted research at the National Fruit and Cider Institute in the 70s and 80s and having been a hobby craft cider maker for many years. To reserve a place, visit littleciderpress.co.uk or call Deborah and Nigel on 01531 670713.
