DILWYN IN BLOOM-Dilwyn will be entering the Heart of England in Bloom competition this year. Being a community project, all villagers can help in some way and encourage the whole community to take pride in where they live. This is not a one off project. Long term improvements will be introduced encompassing wild life areas; signage and presentation of community owned /managed areas. Volunteers are needed in all areas, including those with photographic and printing skills, to put together a prospectus of Dilwyn community life and achievements and plans for improvement. This will form the yardstick against which progress can be measured in future years and forms part of the criteria that will be judged in July. CHURCH FETE-The Fete on the Green will take place on June 4th from 2.30pm. Donations for the book, bottle, knick knack and novelty, plant and cake stalls would be most welcome. Please contact Trish on 01544 318153.
