POLICE would like to know how a cyclist ended up on the side of a road in north Herefordshire with facial injuries yesterday.
Two women were driving along the A4110 towards Lawton Cross at around 9am when they saw a male cyclist lying at the side of the road.
A white lorry that was in front of them failed to stop.
Police said the cyclist was drunk and cannot remember anything, so it is unclear what caused his injuries.
Anyone with any information can call PC Lawrence Smith at Kington Police Station on 0300 333 3000.
