A HUGE collection of Kray twins memorabilia has been auctioned in Leominster.
Almost £15,000 was bid during the 122-lot auction, which featured letters, books and artefacts relating to the notorious London gangsters.
The items were collected by Brad Lane who, as a schoolboy, became obsessed with Reggie Kray when his own father deserted the family home in the 1980s.
The most sought-after item was a Cartier wristwatch, which Reggie gave to Brad, and was sold for £1,550.
A nine carat gold crucifix, again handed to Brad by Reggie, fetched £1,050.
“The Krays are an interesting part of British history,” said bidder Gareth Thomas from Telford, Shropshire, who successfully bid for about a dozen items."
