A COFFEE morning held at the home of Patty and John Vaughan from Norton raised £1,322. The event was held in memory of their son Sam, who died in a road accident in 2003. The couple started holding a coffee morning near the anniversary of the accident the following year and have continued ever since. The money raised goes to the Midlands and Wales Air Ambulances. The event has become one of the biggest annual events in the small village. More than 100 people went through the gate.
