SOFT PLAY SESSION – Withington Primary School, in partnership with local community group Aspire and Withington Playtots, hosted a Jumpstart soft play sessions for local parents and their young children up to three years of age.
Headteacher Andrew Massey said: “It is wonderful to see so many parents and young children accessing the local services provided in the community of Withington here at our wonderful school.”
The Jumpstart sessions have enabled the very young to have access to stimulating play sessions alongside their parents and carers, which supports all areas of their learning and development and builds firm foundations as they grow and start formal education.
The event attracted many families from within the community and demonstrates the firm foundations the school has made in being central to its local community embracing the school ethos
