A BID to revive empty shops in Bromyard has caught the eye of other market towns.
Dozens of Victorian items have appeared in five vacant shop fronts to promote a Bromyard Town Museum.
The group behind the plans wants to permanently house the items, which include period dresses, tools and family bibles.
Paul Webster, founding member, says the visitor response has been excellent, and could be repeated elsewhere.
“We’ve been really pleased at the comments we are getting from people in the town and visitors,” he said.
“People have said we should do this in their town, and they’ve been coming from places like Pershore and Evesham.”
The group wanted to rent the heritage centre, but Bromyard Town Council are pursuing plans for a piano tuning college.
The group hopes to connect the shop displays with a trail, and may open the shops during busy weekends this summer.
