SIR Winston Churchill and Abraham Lincoln could lead a parade in Bromyard next month.
But don’t expect any rousing speeches – and their followers might be a bit wooden.
More than 40 historical figures will be taking to the streets on Friday, June 5, when the scarecrow festival returns to Bromyard.
The weekend event starts with a parade from St Peter’s Church and finishes with a D-Day celebration at the public hall the next evening.
Scarecrows will be displayed around the town during the weekend.
