A HAIRDRESSER with a villainous connection has opened a shop in Bromyard.
Paul Faulkner and Jo Green have opened Bromyard Barber Shop, opposite the Bay Horse on the High Street.
The pair, originally from Bournemouth and Worcester, have around 30 years haircutting experience between them.
It’s a homecoming of sorts for Paul, as his partner’s great granddad was Thomas Green, a former Aston Villa player and landlord of the Crown and Sceptre. Green scored Villa’s first league goal and played for West Brom and Coventry before dying in 1923.
The pair moved to Bromyard after spotting a gap in the market, and are enjoying life in the town.
“I used to work at St John’s in Worcester and we would get a lot of people from Bromyard,” said John.
“There’s been a lot of interest and we’re quite happy to be here.”
