FARMERS Henry and Esther Rudge have won 10 oak saplings in a draw after passing a FWAG environmental health check to ensure they are compliant with any environmental cross compliance.
The couple’s farm at Ballingham Court is a 320 acre mixed holding on the banks of the River Wye. They have planted 30 acres of orchards including 22 acres of apples and eight acres of organic pears.
The farm is open to visitors on Open Farm Day on Sunday from 10am.
