FRIENDS and relatives of a man who received fantastic care at Hereford County Hospital have generously donated money to the Herefordshire Chest Fund.
A cheque of £400 was presented to Dr Aled Philips from Ron Kemp’s widow Glenis, his son Robert, his brothers Stan and Philip and sisterin- law Jean Shepherd.
Mr Kemp was able to improve his quality of life by joining the pulmonary rehabilitation programme four years ago and became a committee member of the Hereford Breathe Easy patient support group.
The Herefordshire Chest Fund uses donations to undertake a variety of activities relating to patients with lung disease and the money will go towards buying oxygen cylinder trolleys for use on the pulmonary rehabilitation programme.
