EVERYDAY objects are transformed into characters and scenery as Objects Dart turn the contents of a picnic hamper into boats, sailors, fish, cities and tsars, while a twirling umbrella becomes the rolling sea.
Salt is the story of Ivan the Ninny, who sets sail across the sea to see what he can see, and explores the fascination children have with everyday objects being transformed to tell the story in a charming event full of fun, magic and instant puppetry.
It is at Lady Hawkins Leisure Centre on Saturday, June 13, at 10.30am. Tickets are priced at just £3 each on 01544 231579. Salt is part of Kington Festival and is co-promoted by Arts Alive and Border Active Arts.
