POLICE have confirmed the identity of the teenager found dead in the River Wye yesterday.
The body of Stuart Thomson, aged 17, was found during an extensive search following his disappearance on Tuesday evening in Brewardine.
Mr Thomson is from Bredwardine and said to be well-known in the area.
A post mortem examination will take place tomorrow and an inquest opened in due course.
