PATRONAL FESTIVAL – Celebrations for Holy Trinity Church’s patronal festival start tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm with Music For All, an annual showcase of village talent. Admission is free but donations to church funds will be welcomed. On Sunday, instead of the usual family service at 10am, there will be a Eucharist and, at 4.30pm in the church, a celebratory strawberry tea followed by songs of praise at 6pm.
SUMMER EVENING OF COMEDY – Tickets are now on sale for a summer evening of comedy presented by the Bosbury Players. Rehearsals are well underway for The Farmer’s Wife (abridged) by Eden Phillpotts and Between Mouthfuls (from Confusions) by Alan Ayckbourn. The venue is Bosbury Parish Hall and performances are on Saturday, June 27, at 7.30pm, and Sunday, June 28, at 8pm. Tickets are £6 (to include a glass of wine), under-16s £4, from Bosbury Barbers or 01684 563117.
