The school hall at Ann Cam Primary School, Dymock, has been transformed thanks to the parents, teachers, and friends association (PTFA).
Special thanks to Mark Samuel who, as well as being a parent at the school, is also a local painter and decorator. It is due to his commitment and drive that he managed to engage the support of many of the school’s PTFA.
Pupils joined in the decorating fun in order to thank their family members for their brilliant efforts, enthusiasm and commitment to the school.
The summer disco is to be held on Saturday, June 13, from 7.30pm.
Funds are also being raised for a new playground adventure trail chosen by the pupils and the running of the school swimming pool which is maintained by the school PTFA.
The PTFA is extremely important to the success of Ann Cam School.
Over the last three years, more than £9,000 has been spent on improved computers for use by all pupils; it has raised £678 to run the school swimming pool and a further £1,642 in maintaining the pool for the use of pupils and the local community.
