MUMS & TOTS – St Michael’s Church hall 9am to 11am, Wednesdays, during term time. Toddlers, babies and their Mums, dads and carers are warmly invited.

Toys, books, crafts, refreshments provided, £1.50 per session. All setting up, clearing away etc done by volunteers from the church so come along and enjoy a relaxing morning.

PRIMARY SCHOOL – Don’t forget the walking bus is still running 8.30am from the memorial hall every Tuesday and Thursday for children of primary school age and any helpers who are young at heart.

EWYAS HAROLD WALKERS – Joined the Monmouth group for a very successful holiday in the Isle of Wight, when 39 people enjoyed long and short walks.

The weather was beautiful and big thanks go to Wendy Gunn and Bob Curtis for organising it.

RED CROSS – Following a door-todoor collection in the village, £382 was raised. Thanks to all the helpers.

CONCERT – On behalf of all those who came to the Joyful Concert in Wormbridge church on May 15, a most warm thank you to all the artists especially to Roger for arranging it all, as well as those who provided the canapes, wine and leafy decorations.

SALTMINE THEATRE COMPANY – In the memorial hall from tomorrow until Sunday, children and youth event (for ages seven to 15) starting tomorrow from 6.30pm to 8pm. Parents welcome to join us for refreshments. Saturday 10am to noon evangelism training looking at personal evangelism, learning to share the gift we have in Jesus, developing friendships and discovering stories. Saturday, 7.30pm to 9.30pm Saltmine Theatre Company present a production called Heroes.

FLOWER FESTIVAL – Tomorrow (Friday), Saturday and Sunday, 10.30am to 5.30pm in St Devereux Church, concluding with a Songs of Praise on Sunday.

BIBLE STUDY & PRAYER GROUP – The next group is to be held on Tuesday, June 9, with Bible study from 10am, coffee from 11.45am and meeting for prayers from 11.45am to 12.15pm. We will continue to look at discipleship using Mark’s Gospel.

WI – Mr David Williams from Golden Valley Apiaries, a passionate beekeeper, gave the members of Pontrilas and District a fascinating insight into the life of honey bees. Our next meeting is on June 9, at 7.30pm, in the memorial hall when Mrs Milli Stein will be telling us about her life as a VSO in Uganda. Do come along and join us.
