CHURCH SUMMER FETE – This annual event in aid of St Mary’s Church will take place on Saturday at Marden Community Hall. The event starts at 2pm. Attractions will include a dance display at 2.30pm by local group Diva le Dance as well as steam engine rides.
There will be stalls selling plants, cakes, bric-a-brac, books and lots of traditional games. Afternoon teas will be served. All welcome.
CHURCH OPEN FOR AFTERNOON TEAS – The beautiful riverside church of St Mary’s, Marden, will be open from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday for tea and cakes. Enjoy the glorious setting of this ancient church and home to St Ethelbert’s Well. Displays on the history of the church. Proceeds to the Raise the Roof appeal.
