A HEREFORDSHIRE school has celebrated the official opening of its new allotment.
The fruit and vegetable patch at Leominster Infant School was put in by county-based strawberry grower S&A Produce. It includes a new tool shed and space for pupils to grow their own produce. Leominster Mayor Richard Westwood cut the ribbon to declare the site open.
S&A’s planning manager, Rebecca Edmonds, said the company had enjoyed the partnership with the school.
