FOUR calves were rescued from the River Wye yesterday.
The cattle, aged nine months, got into diffculty at Old Court Farm, Bredwardine at 12.45pm.
Firefighters from Eardisley, a boat from Hereford and the RSPCA were all called to help them get out.
They succeeded around an hour and 20 minutes later.
