TWO Herefordshire councillors are urging the Highways Agency to look again at a stretch of the A49 featured in the Hereford Times safer driving campaign.
Councillors John Stone and Roger Hunt have invited the agency to revisit the junction with Hay Lane to the north of Leominster.
The road was featured in the Hereford Times on July 30 after resident Janet Smart spoke about her concerns about the safety record there.
Coun Stone said the agency did not register the stretch as an “injury collision cluster site” but felt there were several options to improve safety.
