CLOVER CLUB - There was a good attendance at the October meeting. The entertainer was the very popular Val Littlehale who soon had everyone laughing at her stories and her really funny jokes. Cheese and biscuits and cups of tea were served by the lady helpers. Next month, instead of the usual meeting, there is bingo with lots of prizes. All are welcome. This is on November 12 at 7.30pm. Proceeds are for Clover Club Christmas celebrations.
LOTTERY - Village hall lottery winners in October were: First prize, Jean Edwards, Diddlebury, £37.50; four winners of £6.25, Mary Donnes of Diddlbury, Kay Eveson of Moorwood, Anne Dyer of Westhope and Beth Small of Ludlow.
