AN ECO CHRISTMAS - Children at Sutton St Nicholas Primary School have been exploring new ways to enjoy Christmas. Working alongside Tina Walton and Karen Meiklejohn from the Green Eyed Monster Co, children from reception to year six collected more than 60 plastic bottles to make a funky and creative recycled Christmas tree.
Natural swags were made from conker shells, leaves, bark and seed heads.
Other reclaimed materials included buttons and beads, garden canes, electrical wire, tin foil trays and sweet wrappers.
The tree will be exhibited as part of Art 360, and can be seen in the window of 50 Commercial Road, Hereford.
