OFSTED - Goodrich Primary School has been honoured by Ofsted in a celebratory event recognising outstanding schools in England. Tony Griffiths, headteacher, attended the event at Gibson Hall in London which was hosted by Christine Gilbert, HM chief inspector of education, children’s services and skills. Ms Gilbert said: “I wholeheartedly congratulate Goodrich school on its success and hard work in delivering such high standards.
Excellence does not happen by chance. Such providers have a real drive to inspire, challenge, and support children. They are an inspiration to others.”
Mr Griffiths, said: “This honour is for our whole school community. It is a privilege to work with people who give so much to ensure our wonderful pupils get the best start to their educational journey.” Goodrich receives a commemorative certificate and is authorised to use an exclusive ‘outstanding provider’ logo.
