The most expensive new teddy bear in the world came to Apple Pie House in New Street on Tuesday, to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the founding of Steiff.
German-based Steiff are widely regarded as the inventors of the teddy bear and sent its new bear, valued at 25,000 euros (£16,600), on a UK tour.
Apple Pie House was one of just a handful of British shops to be chosen for a visit from what business partners Graeme Miles and Steff Wayne are calling "the World Cup of bears".
Because of the bear's great value, he was only on public view in the shop for three hours.
The bear is made of gold silk mohair and has real sapphire eyes, set in 18 carat yellow gold and surrounded by 40 diamonds.
He also has a gold nose and ear button.
