Celebrations to mark the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar in October could be held in Dymock.
The parish council is considering a number of suggestions including a bonfire and firework event, possibly on the new car park.
Also suggested is the planting of an oak tree in Dymock Wood, once a source of timber for the Royal Navy, and a special church service.
