A ROSS-ON-WYE head teacher has scooped a top award in recognition of his work at a county school.
Nigel Griffiths received a commendation in the West Midlands section of the Teaching Awards for the dedication and commitment he has shown leading John Kyrle High School.
Sarah Falkland, from BBC Midlands Today, presented Mr Griffiths with his prize in the "head teacher of the year, secondary school" category.
