A WEEK of activities at a Hereford primary school, designed to make maths more fun, was capped with an open day to show off new skills to parents.
Pupils at St Martin's School were encouraged to see the brighter, more creative side to mathematics.
Activities included linking maths to other subjects like PE and science and creating mathematical board games and quizzes like mathstermind.
"There was a superb turnout," said the schools numeracy co-ordinater Veronica Ransford.
"Lots of parents came down and got involved. It was really enjoyable."
