n An outdoor stage area by Newent Lake could be completed by the end of the summer. Mayor Fred Passant said an open area had been identified for paving, close to power points and suitable for easy access. It would be used for events like music concerts and drama.
n There will be a Plants 4 You sale at Newent Memorial Hall tomorrow (Saturday) from 9.30am to 11.30am.
