BOTH Ledbury Cricket Club sides were frustrated by the weather last weekend and missed out on chances to establish themselves firmly in the promotion places of divisions three and six of the Flint & Cook Marches League.
The firsts had been hopeful of defeating Talgarth and moving into the top two of the division three table. With seven of the nine teams closely bunched, the promotion race remains extremely open.
Tomorrow (Saturday), the first XI have no game owing to the withdrawal of Luctonians, the third-placed second XI travel to Bishop's Frome for a division five fixture.
Coaching for prospective U12 players continues on Friday nights behind the Full Pitcher from 6.30pm. There have been excellent turn-outs so far but there is still room for more youngsters.
