Pupils at Bredenbury Primary School topped-off a cinema project with a special film preview.
Children, parents and staff enjoyed a special screening of the animated adventure, Madagascar, at Worcester's Vue cinema on Wednesday.
Headteacher Stephen Brennan-White said: "We spent a day there looking at how the cinema works and what goes on behind the scenes.
"Vue very kindly offered us tickets to see a preview of the film."
The school sold tickets to pupils and families to raise money for new teaching equipment.
Madagascar, the story of four animals from New York Zoo, is on general release from Friday, July 15.
