Ledbury's veterans will mark the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War with a church service and a procession through town on August 21.
The date has been chosen to come after both VE Day and VJ Day and the event will be called 'the final celebration of the cessation of hostilities'.
The church service in St Michael and All Angels' will start at 3pm.
Immediately afterwards, veterans from both the Ledbury and Herefordshire branches of the Royal British Legion will process down Worcester Road, for a turn at Top Cross and a final stop at the War Memorial in the High Street.
Don Rule, the county chairman of the legion, said that road closures for the procession would be in place.
Ledbury veterans will also be present in Hereford Cathedral on Sunday, July 10, when a number of ex-servicemen and women will receive their Veteran's Badges from local cadets.
Several people from the Ledbury area will be among those receiving badges in the presence of the Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire, Sir Thomas Dunne.
Ledbury veterans will also be among those marching through Tewkesbury on July 24, from 2.15pm, for a combined Three Counties service in the Norman abbey.
