A young Guide leader from Ledbury will join five others from Herefordshire in an international 'jailbreak' challenge in August.
The event will involve Christina Hills and her team visiting five European countries in two weeks and organising all their travel and sleeping arrangements themselves.
Christina, a leader with 1st Ledbury Guides, has chosen to visit Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Austria with friends Amy Gibson, Julia Smith, Kathryn Hughes, Joanna Barker and Heather Sims.
She said: "Part of the challenge is to raise a large proportion of the £800 we each need for the trip.
"The Helping Hands Company has agreed to sponsor us £350 for litter picking services and we have also done a sponsored walk on the Malvern Hills."
Anyone wishing to sponsor the group should call 01531 670436.
