HEREFORD pole-vaulter Irie Hill took her season's best height to 4.10 metres - the qualifying standard for the 2006 Common-wealth Games - at the Hanauerlandspiele in Germany.
Hill said that getting the qualifier out of the way enabled her to concentrate on using the bigger poles needed to win the trials and guarantee a place in Melbourne. Her 4.10m earned her fifth place in Germany.
