Weobley High School have received the Herefordshire FA Charter Standard Secondary School of the Year award for 2005.
Herefordshire football development officer Paul Carpenter handed over the pennant marking the achievement to girls' football captain Emma Roche. The school will also have a set of new kit, presented by the Football Foundation.
"It is extremely rewarding that our efforts in football have been recognised by the Herefordshire FA and also that the school teams have been given the boost of a brand new kit by the Football Foundation," said Weobley's head of PE Richard Wydenbach.
"I am sure that all the pupils are rightly proud of both the award and the extremely smart new kit."
