SCHOOL FETE - Bosbury School fete raised more than £2,000 for school funds. The variety of stalls and refreshments drew a large crowd to the school playing fields where they were entertained by the school choir, recorder groups, instrumentalists and drums combo. The Friends of Bosbury School organised the event.

CHURCH - This Sunday there is no church service but all are welcome to a special service, at 10am, in St Michael and All Angels, Ledbury. This is the last service by the Rev Prebendary, Dr Colin Beevers, before retiring. As team rector of the Ledbury Ministry Team for nine years, he has been a familiar face at Holy Trinity, Bosbury.

On Thursday, July 7, at 10am, there is Holy Communion at Bosbury and every following Thursday this month. Parish Communion is at 9.30am, on Sunday, July 10.

CONCERT - The next concert in the Music at Bosbury series is by Vital Spark, a West Gallery Choir with diverse instruments bringing the lively church music of Thomas Hardy's England.

The venue is Holy Trinity, Bosbury, on Saturday, July 9, at 7.30pm.

Tickets (adults) £6, (child) £3 and (family) £15, to include a glass of wine/soft drink and nibbles.

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH MEETING - Inspector Susan Thomas, responsible for this area, will address the meeting and will answer any questions.

Duty rotas permitting, PC Judy Carter, the rural beat manager, and Alison Dore, community support officer, will also be present.

This is an opportunity for all parishioners to find out more, comment on and also get involved in the scheme as a local co-ordinator. Details: 640234.

COFFEE MORNING - Next month's coffee morning will be on July 23, at 10.30am, instead of the third Saturday. The recent coffee morning and table top sales raised £87.50 for the church and the parish hall.
