TALGARTH proved too strong for Wormelow as they moved through to the third of the Marches League Advantage Business Supplies Knockout Cup.
After being put in to bat, Wormelow made a steady start with openers Shaun Waldron (30) and Jamie Langford posting 53.
In the face of some accurate bowling, runs were hard to come by but in-form Ian Herbert (49 not out) and James Cutler (33 not out) crashed 41 from the last four overs to help the total up to 175-5 from 40 overs.
Glyn Harrhy (2-29) and Neil Morris (2-47) returned the most impressive bowling figures for Talgarth, although New Zealander Glen Reynolds conceded just 20 runs from his nine overs.
Clive Price (1-36) quickly removed Reynolds' fellow Kiwi Haydn Whiting, but Harrhy and Mark Waldeck then shared an imposing second-wicket stand of 114, taking the score to 139 before Waldeck was run out for 42.
Harrhy battled on and included 10 fours and two sixes in a match-winning 80 before Morris (22 not out) and Ewan Cardwell (12 not out) saw the Welshmen home by seven wickets.
